With the introduction of compulsory CE Marking on all construction products from the 1st July 2013, we have taken the decision to discontinue Agrément Certification of the 175mm and 225mm beams. The Company considers that this BBA Certificate no longer gives any commercial advantage or quality standard that is not given by the CE Mark. The Company considers that this uniform/standard to all beam products is long overdue and welcome the mandatory CE Mark.

In addition to the CE Mark on its 175mm and 225mm beams, in June 2013 the Company also obtained the CE Mark on its shape moulded Poly-Plus range of products - manufactured exclusively for Rackham Housefloors Ltd by Jablite Ltd. After discussions with the BBA and NHBC the Company have decided that maintaining Agrément Certification of its Poly-Plus system is a commercial and technical necessity and therefore this Agrément Certificate will remain in place and continue indefinitely.

Peter who was head hunted from Tata Steel has a wealth of experience and underlines Rackhams commitment to improving it's Health & Safety and Environmental record and Management Systems.

In accordance with the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) requiring the mandatory C E Marking of all construction products by July 1st, Rackhams has achieved full C E Certification on all its concrete beam products.
